This is one of the most controversial pieces Balenciaga has ever produced, the Super Destroyed set sent non fashion internet users into a frenzy due to their extremely high retail cost for what most people viewed as garbage they wouldn’t want for free. The Jacket itself is the sample off the runway from the 2nd (or first depending on who you ask) look of the show, it was hand distressed by the runway production atelier essentially giving it couture quality as the retail version that released was incredible disappointing because it was nowhere near “super destroyed” like the and this jacket that was shown as the sample implied.
